Feb. 14, 2026 - Griff Griffitts is who the local crony cartel has decided to install as TDC/CVB President now?
Loose lips sink ships, and whispers are spreading like wildfire. It’s an open conspiracy if true.
Doug Moore has announced he’s not running for reelection to the County Commission. He’s an attorney who’d be more efficient in the State Leguslature. Evidently, Griff isn’t well-liked in Tallahassee.
Sheriff Ford interfered in the 2020 Special Election to get Moore elected. It was a crowded field, and Moore won by less than 1 percent.
Musical chairs are in full swing as the most trusted cronies are assuming the most lucrative positions of power.
The uproar against Mark Sheldon caused a shift in strategy. They need Todd Neves to keep WMBB and his crooked media outlets pumping propaganda.
It’s a horse race, and the odds-on favorite now is Griff. After all, his father founded the CVB with Theo Patronis and Allan Bense in 1998.
Plus Sheriff Ford and Griff are thick as thieves.
Feb. 15, 2026 - Meet Dan Rowe’s successor as President of the TDC: Griff Griffitts.
Word is, that’s the plan.

And to replace Griff at the State House of Representatives with Doug Moore, who announced he’s not running for reelection to the County Commission.
It appears the whole point of forcing out Dan Rowe was to put Sheriff Ford’s best buddy in charge of the “tourism” slush fund that shovels cash to the BCSO.
Insiders say they’re working on the optics of installing Griff right now. And increasing the comprnsation package on the sly.
In a couple days, the Bay County Commission will vote to appoint four loyal cronies to the TDC/CVB Board until 2029:
Josh Wakstein
Reggie Johns (Incumbent)
Michael Jarman (incumbent)
Ethan Register (incumbent)
Three-Chair Clair has this scheme hidden in the non-agenda items that they plan to pass without discussion.
Feb. 17, 2026 - The Treasurer is the CUSTODIAN of all the funds at the nonprofit CVB/Visit Panama City Beach, according to its By-Laws.
You can read the By-Laws in my previous post.
Feb. 17, 2026 - Here are the By-Laws for the CVB/Visit PCB, a nonprofit created in 1998 by Allan Bense, Phillip Griffitts, Theo Patronis, and others.
The nonprofit is overseen by the TDC, composed of the exact same Board members. Clair Pease is the Chair of both Boards.
The TDC is the advisory Board for the County Commission. Clair Pease is the Chair of both Boards.
Last month, Sheriff Ford announced that a MILLION DOLLARS had been embezzled by Aaron Lee, who was hired in 2024 to oversee expenditures.
Lee was recommended by then-Treasurer Yonnie Patronis. The Treasurer is the CUSTODIAN of all the funds.
Patronis resigned suddenly a couple weeks ago.
Sources tell me that Aaron Lee used the American Express Platinum Card to purchase an $8K bottle of wine from Captain Anderson’s Restaurant, owned by Treasurer Yonnie Patronis.
President Dan Rowe is “working from home” the next three months for $85K, plus $500 per month for a car allowance.
Then his resignation kicks in.
All of the bigwigs say they’ve taken “extreme measures” to make sure nothing like this ever happens again. And it’s time to “move forward” and get to work promoting tourism at our Real Fun Beach.
Now Sheriff Ford is MONITORING this page according to WJHG-TV after I was painted in a dangerous light for a threatening comment I deleted made by a sock-puppet.
And he’s trying to figure out how to seize a horse.

Feb. 16, 2026 - I just sent this email to each member of the Lynn Haven City Commission regarding the criminal mishandling of confidential Child Protective Interview CDs dated 2021.
The CDs were abandoned and later found in a police officer’s home late last year. Sheriff Ford and the Lynn Haven Police Department pretended to review the situation and said there was no wrongdoing.
Then the City returned the confidential government CDs to the police officer for his personal use. He gave them to his private attorney.
Children make disclosures of abuse and worse at the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, which hands out copies of the sensitive interviews without the proper safeguards.
Nobody - NOBODY - has taken this matter seriously. That needs to change immediately.
NOTE: The added paragraph about primary employment being government contracting was included in the emails to Commissioner Warrick and to Commissioner Peebles.
Feb. 20, 2026 - We need different attorneys in local government. Over the past decade or so, Cole Davis and his colleagues have caused enough mayhem.
Feb. 21, 2026 - Sheriff Ford has 16 drone operators who use thermal optics beyond line of sight, sometimes for just for “community complaints.”
Most operators have completed the training courses, and they take into account “constitutional considerations.”
Do you have drones flying over you too?
